Before Jan van Rooyen entered fulltime ministry he was a pilot in the South African Airforce.

This photograph depicts two of the aircraft flown by Jan during his career in the Air Force - the Italian built Impala Mark-1 and Mark-2 (Aermacchi MB326M and MB326KC).

Jan applies many of the practical principles and disciplines he learnt as a pilot in his day to day functioning as a minister of the Gospel and in training Believers for active duty.
